Project case study

The Great Lakes Cigar Festival

Event Website Design & Development

Great Lakes Cigar Festival needed a clear site for guests, sponsors, and fans. First, I planned the page around the facts people need most. Next, I grouped tickets, dates, sponsors, and vendors into clear sections. Then, I built each section for phone and desktop screens. Also, I kept the main ticket path easy to find. For example, ticket links stay close to key event details. Meanwhile, sponsor and vendor content has its own clear space. Because of that, guests can learn about the event with less effort. As a result, the event team can update key details as plans change. Finally, the site gives the festival one steady home on the web.

Project Overview

The site brings the main event facts into one place. First, guests see what the festival is. Next, they can find tickets and event details. Then, they can view sponsors, vendors, and new updates. Also, the layout works well on small screens. For example, short sections help phone users scan the page. Therefore, the page stays easy to use on the go. As a result, the site feels clear and useful. Finally, the colors and images keep the event style in view.

How the Page Helps Visitors

First, guests see the event name. Next, they find the main date. Then, they can scan the key details. Also, they can reach ticket links fast. After that, they can learn about sponsors. Meanwhile, vendors have a clear place on the page. For example, phone users can scan short blocks. Therefore, the page feels easy to follow. As a result, less time is spent looking for basic facts. Finally, the festival team has one page to keep current.

First, the path is short. Next, the labels are plain. Then, each button has one clear job. Also, the key facts stay near the top. Finally, guests can act with fewer steps.

Moreover, each section has one goal. In addition, event facts use short labels. Therefore, key links stay easy to spot. Likewise, the page works on small screens. As a result, the team can update it as plans change. Finally, guests can move with fewer steps.
